Demo submissions

Sending a demo is free. You confirm you made the track (or hold all the rights to it) and that it contains no samples you haven't cleared. You keep every right to your music: sending it to us gives DV8 permission only to store it, listen to it and review it. We never release, share or train anything on your music without a signed agreement with you.

Every demo gets feedback, usually within a few days. Feedback is our honest opinion and may be prepared with the help of software analysis; it isn't a promise of a release. If we want to sign a track, we'll contact you with a written offer. Signing with DV8 never costs you money.

Mastering and mixing

Services are paid in advance in euro. You confirm you hold the rights to the material you send. Turnaround times are estimates from the day we receive complete files. The included rounds of changes are listed on each service. If we can't deliver, you get a full refund. Once a finished file has been delivered, the service counts as provided; under EU consumer law you agree that the work starts straight away when you upload your files.

Buying a service has no effect on whether a demo is signed. The label and the services are kept separate.

Liability

We take care of your files, but please keep your own copies. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned.

Law

These terms are governed by Irish law.
